Miracles of the Fiery Furnace
Daniel, Chapter Three

Important acts of Nebuchadnezzar:

He built a very large idol. Nebuchadnezzar made the image or idol 90 feet tall. It was 3 score (3x20=60), times a cubit which is approximately 18 inches or 1.5 feet (Daniel 3:1).

He also decreed that all in the kingdom must worship him (Daniel 3: 4-6).

In his anger, he threatened the three Hebrew children (Daniel 3: 8-13).

Three miracles of God:

The soldiers who cast God's servants in the fire were killed, but not God's children (Daniel 3:19-22).

The Hebrew children did not burn, nor their clothes (Daniel 3: 23-25a).

Jesus, before He came to earth, was in the furnace with them (Daniel 3:17 & 25b).

Three lessons we should learn:

God's great power was manifested (Daniel 3:16, Revelation 19:6).

We should walk by faith in God (Daniel 3:17-18, 2 Corinthians 5:6-8).

God will be with us in our trials when we are true to Him (Daniel 3:25, Deuteronomy 31:6, Matthew 28:19-20 and Hebrews 13:5-6).
